Standards?

Units are cast to conform with both BS1217 and the UKCSA specifications. Standard reinforcing would normally be used but this can be varied on receipt of your schedule requirements from your structural engineer.

Durability?

Usually better results are achieved with Cast Stone in strength, colour match and finish. All our mixes are unique to our company and include a waterproofing agent.

Uses?

Anywhere where natuaral stone would be used. Cast Stone is normally less expensive and more easily created.

Availability?

Depending on the complexity of the unit and whether we have standard moulds, delivery would normally be three to four weeks from receipt of final instructions/order. This time scale is necessary to enable the units to be fully cured prior to delivery.

Our 'in-house' mould makers  can reproduce to your design should our standard mouldings not be suitable, this would be at an extra cost and will increase the delivery period by say, an additional 2 days to a week depending on the design.

Colour of Stone?

We can match almost any finish but colour and texture variations must be expected as the units are manufactured using natural aggregates. Samples can be supplied for colour purposes only.

Finishes?

We manufacture using either the semi-dry or wet cast methods.

How are they made?

All orders are manufactured by hand and not machine made. Our craftsmen have many years of experience, using moulds from our in house joinery shop.

What is Cast Stone?

It is a unique way of manufacturing Architectural Stone using aggregates sourced from varying quarries to achieve the finish required by the specifier.

Strength?

Our units are regularly tested and we achieve strengths in excess of 35N
